Although the Email in Focus web site is a self-directed web site, a technical support person employed by Email in Focus, LLC or its affiliates may use your personal information to help you with a technical problem or provide service.

What kind of personal information do you have, and where did you get it?

Much of the personal information that we have about you comes directly from you. You disclosed this information on your signup application or other documents which you have provided to us. We may have contacted you by telephone, mail or email for additional information. We also keep information about account balances and payment history.

We also keep information about the messages Email in Focus rejects on your behalf. We NEVER keep information about the messages you actually receive, only the messages we reject. We keep such data as the time and date those messages were sent, the IP number of the sending system and various other information that helps us track spam and unsolicited emailing trends. THIS DATA IS ABOUT THE SPAMMER, NOT YOU!

We routinely analyze the REJECTED MESSAGE data to spot trends. We freely share these trends and conclusions we make based on these trends with such groups as the American Family Association, The United States Congress and others we think deserve such data. Our goal is to stop spam and unsolicited email and we only share this data when we think it will aid us in that goal.

How do you protect my personal information?

We may provide aggregate statistics about our website customers, traffic patterns, and related site information to outside parties (i.e., third party partners, industry analysts or the media); however, these statistics will not include personally identifiable information or account information about any of our individual customers.

In addition, we may sell, buy, transfer, exchange, or merge all or a portion of a business or an operating unit. In such proposed or actual transactions, nonpublic personal customer information may be shared and may be one of the transferred business assets.
